Waiting on Cisco

For those wondering why it looks as if my studying has stalled, that’s because it has. I am waiting for Cisco to announce the new CCNP. I have passed BSCI and BCMSN but I have not passed ISCW or ONT. I figured I would study ONT while I was waiting on Cisco to announce the new version of ONT because QoS interested me and my time would not be wasted, however, I am not going to spend $150 on a test that will not amount to a hill of beans toward my certification. We’ll see what they say next week.

On another note, I ran across a great article in Wired about encryption. One of my classes in graduate school was taught by a mathematician and his explanation of public key encryption was not as good as the explanation in the article.
